    With over 40 years of healthcare experience, I take a holistic, evidence-based, trauma-informed approach to therapy. My clients say that our sessions provide a safe, compassionate space where they feel truly heard and supported.

    I spent most of my nursing career caring for individuals and their families facing neurological disorders and injuries. This work provided me with deep insight into how people navigate major life disruptions and adapt to change. Throughout my career, I have held roles in clinical practice, management, academia, and research. This background allows me to support clients from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing overwhelm, stress, anxiety, exhaustion, or significant life transitions. I also have a particular understanding of the challenges faced by nurses and other healthcare professionals, having seen firsthand how demanding work environments can lead to burnout if left unaddressed.

    I believe that when we try to understand the root of a problem and pursue real change, breakthroughs often come from multiple sources. Therefore, my therapeutic approach will adapt based on the client's needs. Psychotherapeutic methods include:

For clients ready for deeper work, I provide a 7-step experiential process developed to help identify what you need for sustainable self-nurturing practices.

    I'm passionate about helping my clients develop self-compassionate resilience to stress and regain energy and joy in their lives. Whether you're facing workplace challenges, persistent exhaustion, major life changes, or working toward a better work-life balance, I am dedicated to helping you find calm amid the chaos.

    I am a former Board Member of the Canadian Holistic Nurses Association (CHNA) and continue to dedicate myself to promoting holistic well-being through my practice.

    I am deeply curious about life and diverse experiences—I'm a lifelong learner with many interests. When I'm not working, you'll find me on the East Coast of Canada with my partner, spending time with friends and family. I enjoy cooking for those I care about and being outdoors. I'm grateful every day to live in this special corner of the world. Although I've traveled to some beautiful places, nothing compares to my home province of Newfoundland & Labrador, where I visit whenever I can!
